Our School and Program

The written works are made by students from Kids Ahoy! and the Center for Blended Learning in Cubao, Quezon City, Manila.

We are a school that teaches values through our Hero Program as well as standard academics based on the DepEd RBEC. Both of these goals are taught in classes which revolve around, and are integrated in, the following content:

Play– Children learn through physical games, pretend-play, role-playing, and board games.

Literature – Using stories (reading and writing) to enhance understanding of academic concepts.

Arts –Music, the visual arts, are used both to teach academic subjects and for enrichment.

Culture and Citizenship – Learning, appreciating, and being proud of the Filipino culture.  Covers mostly citizenship, geography, history.

Eco-literacy– At it’s core, a mixture of science and social studies, children learn to take care of the environment.

Service Learning; Math, Sciences and technology- Service Learning teaches awareness of their community and their impact in society. Through fund-raising, skills training, and social awareness, they learn how to create change to help others. In addition to experiment based science classes, as well as real-life applications in Math Classes, this also includes the online factor as aids in class  (21st century learning).
